Hyrule Warriors is confirmed on 3DS

Koei Tecmo and Nintendo today confirmed Hyrule Warriors is heading to 3DS.

The announcement was made via a Japanese trailer, so details are scarce (or at least in another language), but there is a reference to “All-Stars” in the videos YouTube description. That’s leading many to expect a bundle with DLC characters and the like.

Moreover, The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker characters Tetra and King Daphnes Nohansen Hyrule are shown in the video. Those who purchase the 3DS version of Hyrule Warriors will unlock the new characters in the original Wii U version of the game.

We’re sure to have more on Hyrule Warriors on 3DS from E3 next week.
