Hyenas a multiplayer shooter from Alien Isolation’s Creative Assembly

Get hype.

Hyenas was today announced by publisher Sega and developer Creative Assembly.

A “flashy” multiplayer shooter, Hyenas is the latest from Creative Assembly, the studio behind the likes of Alien Isolation and Halo Wars 2.

“In Hyenas, the world is broken… literally,” Sega said of the new title. “The billionaires have finally made it to Mars, leaving Earth and those tax bills far behind. The zero-gravity tech that powered their journey has shattered our planet, abandoning us in a drifting slum called the ‘Taint’.

“The only thing the rich care for is rare Merch, pop culture swag from the lives we left behind which they loot from the rubble to furnish their Martian mansions.”

We don’t know much else about the shooter, though Creative Assembly has also confirmed that Hyenas“ won’t include pay-to-win mechanics,” but “will include Panini sticker albums, a SEGA Mega Drive and PEZ dispensers” so make of that what you will.

You can check out the title’s reveal trailer below.

We’ll have on Hyenas as it’s made available. For now, We know we can expect the title on Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4 and PS5 in 2023.
