Hockey roguelite Tape to Tape enters early access in May

Get your stick on the ice.

Hockey roguelike Tape to Tape will enter Steam early access on 3 May, developer Excellent Rectangle has today announced.

Tape to Tape redefines the hockey gaming experience by fusing the classic 90s-style gameplay with modern, innovative mechanics in an exciting and goofy roguelite adventure,” reads a press release.

“Bone-crushing body checks and stellar saves will keep players shaking in their skates, but mastering the dynamic puck physics system will secure the victory. Players and goalies will react to the puck bouncing off sticks and ricocheting off faces creating organic and emergent battles on the ice.”

We’ve had the chance to check out Tape to Tape; you can read our preview right here. If you’d like to try it out for yourself, a demo is also available.

Tape to Tape heads to Windows PC via Steam on 3 May.
