Hitman Trilogy Xbox Game Pass release coming 20 January

What amazing news!

Hitman Trilogy, a bundle of Hitman, Hitman 2 and Hitman 3, will head to Xbox Game Pass on 20 January.

IO Interactive made the announcement last week, adding that Hitman Trilogy will also be available as a purchasable item on Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S & X, PS4 and PS5. Over on PC, the title will be available on both Steam and the Epic Games Store.

Hitman 3 will finally become available on Windows PC via Steam from that same day, with players able to play in VR and take advantage of “all of the technical improvements… such as Ray Tracing, XeSS and Variable Rate Shading.” Moreover, all Hitman titles will be playable in VR from 20 January.

A new mode called Elusive Target Arcade will also be introduced into Hitman 3 at that same time.

“Each Arcade Contract now tasks you with taking down consecutive Elusive Targets, one contract after the other,” IO Interactive said. “Each one must be completed to proceed to the next – and there are additional complications added to the contract as well.”

A new mode called Freelancer will follow later in 2022, also adding a customisable safehouse for players to take advantage of.

Hitman Trilogy heads to Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S & X, PS4 and PS5 from 20 January 2022. It’s also available via Xbox Game Pass from that same date.
