Hitman 3 release date set for 20 January, next-gen upgrades for free

The Hitman 3 release date has been set for 20 January across Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PS4 and PS5, with next-gen upgrades provided for free between Xbox and PlayStation platforms.

IO’s next-gen upgrade path appears to be a digital-only offering on PS4 to PS5, while Hitman 3 has been confirmed to use Smart Delivery on Xbox.

Moreover, IO Interactive confirmed we’ll get two versions of the game to choose from: a Standard or Deluxe offering. The Deluxe edition comes with Deluxe Escalations, bonus in-game suits, digital soundtracks, a director’s commentary and artbook.

Pre-ordering the title will also net you the Trinity Pack, complete with the themed sets of items.

Hitman 3 heads to Windows PC via the Epic Games Store, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PS4 and PS5 on 20 January 2021.
