Hitman 2 confirmed, available in November with standalone co-op

Hitman 2 was confirmed by Warner Bros. early this morning.

Available in November 2018, Hitman 2 will not continue the episodic format used in Hitman, instead offering its base game as one complete package.

The title will take players to new locations such as the race track used to tease its release. Additional locations and environments include “sun-drenched streets” and a “dark, dangerous rainforest.”

In terms of story, it was confirmed that Agent 47 will be hunting down the Shadow Client and his militia in an attempt to learn more of his own past.

Hitman 2 will also feature the new Sniper Assassin mode, a standalone, co-op event that will allow for online co-operation between two players. Sniper Assassin can also be played as a single-player mode for the lone wolves out there.

We’ll have more on Hitman 2 from E3 2018 — stay tuned!

Hitman 2 will head to Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4 on 13 November.
