Here’s more evidence of Capcom’s Resident Evil 0, Code Veronica remakes

RE fans should be excited.

Further evidence of rumoured Resident Evil 0 and Resident Evil Code Veronica remakes has come to light in the form of a report by MP1st, coupled with the resume of a potential voice actor.

Rumours of the remakes have been swirling for years now, with Capcom almost confirming as much itself back in 2023. Noted leaker Dusk Golem has been leading the charge, reporting that they expect the Resident Evil Code Veronica remake to be released in 2027, followed by the Resident Evil 0 remake in 2028.

MP1st reports that the remake is codenamed “Project Chamber” after its lead, Rebecca Chambers, and says the resume of Jon McLaren (Star-Lord in 2021Guardians of the Galaxy) corroborates this.

McLaren’s resume lists “Project Chamber” as an “upcoming AAA video game”, and says it’s being handled by Beyond Capture Studios, the same motion capture company that’s worked with Capcom on titles including the Resident Evil 4 remake and Street Fighter 6.

Without confirmation, MP1st says it’s “probable” that McLaren is voicing Billy Coen in-game, the other playable character beyond Resident Evil‘s Chambers.

Capcom has yet to confirm the existence of either remake, but we’ll keep you posted as this situation continues.
