Here’s how Aussies can get the Mythical Pokémon Hoopa for Pokémon X & Y or Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire

Aussies (and our Kiwi friends) can get the Mythical Pokémon Hoopa for Pokémon X & Y or Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire in the latter half of January.

From 18-29 January, Aussie and New Zealand retailers will be offering the Pokémon up via special code distribution.

In Austraila, codes can be obtained at EB Games, JB Hi-Fi and Big W. In New Zealand, participating retailers include EB Games and JB Hi-Fi. There is a limit of one code per person, while stocks last.

Hoopa is a Mythical Pokémon that cannot be encountered through regular gameplay, and is recognisable by its two horns and the golden ring that adorns its trunk. Hoopa’s rings are said to have the power to bend dimensions and move objects across great distances.

The code offers Hoopa in its Confined form. When Hoopa is in Pokémon Omega Ruby or Pokémon Alpha Sapphire, it can transform into the powerful Hoopa Unbound. Neat stuff.
