Here’s how Americans can qualify for the Nintendo World Championships 2015

Ah, America. We love how you do something in your country, yet have the gall to call it a “World Championship”.

It looks like that’s the case with the Nintendo World Champions 2015, as qualifying locations have been set at American Best Buy stores on 30 May.

Locations include:

  • 1717 Harrison St., San Francisco, CA
  • 3675 Pacific Coast Highway, Torrance, CA
  • 10760 NW 17th St., Miami, FL
  • 900 E. Golf Road, Schaumburg, IL
  • 12905 Elm Creek Blvd. N, Maple Grove, MN
  • 5001 Northern Blvd., Long Island City, NY
  • 9378 N. Central Expressway, Dallas, TX
  • 2214 S. 48th St., Tacoma, WA

Qualifying rounds will set gamers against one another using Ultimate NES Remix on Nintendo 3DS.

We’re looking to see if other countries will get the chance to participate in qualifiers.

The Nintendo World Championships 2015 take place over E3 in Los Angeles this June.
