While we here at Stevivor are super excited, we can’t help but criticise EA Sports’ decision to feature a San Jose Shark in their first NHL 15 screenshot.

At any rate, you can check out the Sharks’ Joe Thornton in full detail below. Click it for a larger image.

We really dig the lighting on Thornton’s helmet.

This year is the first that NHL 15 will appear on current-gen devices. It’s safe to say that the screenshot above is from Xbox One or PS4 and not Xbox 360 or PS3.

Expect NHL 15 on Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3 and PS4 near the end of the year.
