Here are the new actors playing Superman, Lois Lane in DC’s films

Say hello to David Corenswet and Rachel Brosnahan.

It’s official: the latest reboot of the DC film universe has its new Superman and Lois Lane.

David Corenswet and Rachel Brosnahan have been cast as Superman/Clark Kent and Lois, respectively, as confirmed by DC film head James Gunn.

“They are not only both incredible actors, but also wonderful people,” Gunn said in a tweet confirming a report by The Hollywood Reporter.

The pair will star in Superman Legacy, the first of a new wave of films that will launch a newly designed universe.

The film is a long way off; expected in July 2025, it will follow the last in the current DC film universe: Aquaman 2.

The Flash is currently in theatres, and while it’s being commended for its storytelling, it’s also being dunked on for featuring a very problematic actor in Ezra Miller.
