Helldivers 2 Xbox release coming in August

Time to join the fight.

Former PlayStation exclusive Helldivers 2 will head to Xbox in late August, Arrowhead Game Studios has today announced.

Players can expect the title from 27 August here in Australia.

“We know gamers have been asking for this for some time and we are so excited to bring more Helldivers into our game,” said Arrowhead’s Mikael Eriksson. “We have so much more in store for the future months and years – and the more players we have the more stories we can tell! The fight for Super Earth has only just begun.”

At present, two editions of Helldivers 2 are available to pre-order on the Microsoft Store — the standard edition is priced at $64.95 AUD, while the Super Citizen Edition will set you back $94.95 AUD.

We awarded Helldivers 2 runner-up honours for best multiplayer in our Game of the Year 2024 awards.

Helldivers 2 is currently available on Windows PC and PS5, and heads to Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X on 27 August.
