The Harley Quinn animated TV show looks surprisingly good

I’ll be honest: I’m sick of Harley Quinn, and the recent DC mini-series Heroes in Crisis only served to make matter worse. So imagine my surprise when today’s SDCC Harley Quinn first look made me actually want to watch the show on DC Universe?

You can check it all out below. Personally, I’m impressed by the fluid animation, roster of characters (was that Kite Man? That was Kite Man.) and drastically different tone Harley Quinn is setting compared to, say, Titans.

Dark. Gritty. For dark and gritty’s sake.

At any rate, you can check out Harley Quinn below. The titualar heroine(ish) is voiced by The Big Bang Theory‘s Kaley Cuoco. Other voice actors confirmed for the series include Lake Bell as Poison Ivy, Alan Tudyk as The Joker and Diedrich Bader as Batman.

Harley Quinn heads to the DC Universe streaming service soon.
