Hand of Fate 2 heads to PC, consoles in November; 4K on Xbox One X

Hand of Fate 2, the rogue-like RPG developed by Brisbane-based Defiant Development, heads to PC and consoles on 7 November.

The announcement was made alongside the confirmation of the game’s fourth companion, Ariande of Stiegal.

“Companions, a new addition to the Hand of Fate franchise, offer support in battle, exclusive perks in the meta board game, dialogue options, and have their own storylines,” Defiant said of the feature. “In combat, Ariadne acts as a melee tank character with armor break abilities, while in the board game she can duplicate cards in games of chance to improve the player’s odds dramatically.”

It was also confirmed that Hand of Fate 2 will support 4K HD on Xbox One X, which will be available on the same day — 7 November. The sequel will include new weapon types, fighting styles, boost cards and set victory conditions.

Hand of Fate 2 heads to Windows PC via Steam, Xbox One and PS4.
