Halo composer Marty O’Donnell suing Bungie for unpaid benefits

VentureBeat today reports that Halo theme composer Marty O’Donnell — who claimed back in April that he was terminated by Bungie’s Board of Directors without cause — has has filed suit against the Bungie for unpaid benefits.

Filing against Bungie CEO Harold Ryan on 1 May, O’Donnell claims Bungie failed to compensate him for “unused vacation time, paid time off, and other benefits”.

“Ryan has caused Bungie to violate applicable law and the Company’s policies and practices regarding payment of O’Donnell’s accrued but unpaid vacation time, paid time off, sabbatical time, and other benefits,” the filing reads.

O’Donnell is also asking for double damages, citing “other grievances against Bungie and Ryan,” which are not disclosed in available documents.
