Guild Wars 2 gets its first expansion with “Heart of Thorns”

Guild Wars 2’s first expansion, “Heart of Thorns”, was announced during PAX South over last weekend.

According to ArenaNet , the expansion reimagines progression with the new Mastery system, providing training opportunities post-level 80.

New quests and a new profession called Revenant will also be available via the expansion pack.

A release date for “Heart of Thorns” was not named.
