The Grudge returns in January 2020

The Grudge will once again head to theatres, this time in a film starring John Cho scheduled for January 2020.

“Once you enter, [The Grudge] will follow you home,” reads the short description that accompanies the trailer, below. The Grudge is produced by the legendary Sam Raimi (Evil Dead, Don’t Breathe) and looks genuinely terrifying. Were we the only ones getting some Baker family, Resident Evil 7-style feels from what was displayed?

You can check out the trailer below — let us know what you think of the rebooted franchise that used to be a Japanese horror movie.

The Grudge heads to theatres on 3 January 2020.
