Good Game: Hex, Nichboy left to star in rival show on Channel Seven

Junkee today reports that Good Game hosts Stephanie ‘Hex’ Bendixsen and Nich ‘Nichboy’ Richardson left the ABC show to start up a rival program on Channel Seven.

Good Game took to Facebook yesterday detailing its cancellation, saying “two of the key presenters of Good Game announced they were leaving to pursue other opportunities.”

ABC Director of Television, Richard Finlayson, added to this in an email today.

“When it was announced that two key members of our presenting team were heading off to join a new rival show, the Entertainment and Programming teams agreed we were best to go out on a high,” Finlayson wrote.

Good Game: Spawn Point will continue to air on ABC ME. We’ll keep you informed when we learn more of the Channel Seven program.
