GoldenEye Xbox 360 remaster ROM now circulating, playable on PC

Oooooh.

A playable PC ROM of the GoldenEye Xbox 360 remaster that was showcased last week is now circulating around file-sharing websites, it’s been confirmed.

News of the ROM started circulating around social media websites late last night; Stevivor has verified the ROM is available and does work on PC.

Footage from the canceled remaster began to make the rounds earlier in the month; the Xbox Live Arcade remaster was planned for a 2007 release and was based off of GoldenEye‘s original N64 1997 code.

The question remains: will you actively be searching for this ROM? (No, we’re not linking you.)

If you haven’t checked out the GoldenEye remastered gameplay on Xbox 360 (via PC emulator), you can head here.
