God of War photo mode will force Kratos into a painful smile

A new God of War photo mode will head to PS4 users for free and offer myriad options, Sony Santa Monica recently confirmed.

The developer took to a YouTube livestream to detail the photo mode — said conversation starts at the 39-minute mark of the video below:

If you’re after quick and dirty details, the free mode will offer a range of camera and filter options, including borders, logos and ability to remove characters from the shot. As above, you’ll also be able to force a (painful) smile on protagonists Kratos and Atreus.

Looking good, buddy.

The free photo mode wasn’t dated, but it’s expected to head to God of War on PS4 shortly. We’ll keep you informed as we learn more.
