Get a free month of Origin Access for using TFA

Those who enable two-factor authentication (TFA) in October 2019 will receive a free month of Origin Access in November, EA today announced.

“Turn on Login Verification during the month of October 2019 for National Cybersecurity Awareness Month, and enjoy a month of Origin Access Basic for free,” EA detailed. “You’ll get your month of Origin Access Basic starting on or after November 1, 2019. If you don’t get your free month right away, please wait a few days.”

For those unaware, the Origin Access subscription program is similar to Microsoft’s Xbox Game Pass program in that it allows free access to a number of EA-developed titles including the recently-added Anthem. Those aleady paying for Origin Access or Origin Access Premiere will get the month of November for free just by turning on TFA, EA also declared.

We’ve asked EA if those who already had TFA enabled — like yours truly — will get the free month of Origin Access as well.

Update: An EA representative has confirmed with Stevivor that those already signed-up for TFA will receive a free month of Origin Access (or Origin Access Premiere if applicable).
