Unless Doug Cockle is lying...
Geralt voice actor Doug Cockle has confirmed that the character will be “part of” The Witcher 4, but not as its main protagonist.
“Witcher 4 has been announced, [but] I can’t say anything about it,” Cockle told Fall Damage.
“What we know is that Geralt will be part of the game, we just don’t know how much, and the game won’t focus on Geralt. So it’s not about him this time,” he continued.
“We don’t know who it’s about. I’m excited to find out,” Cockle said. “I have not seen any script yet – I mean, I couldn’t tell you if I did. This is the thing, so I could be lying through my teeth. But I’m not. Or am I?”
We don’t know much about the next Witcher game, but we do know it will feature the Lynx School and is being built in Unreal Engine 5. We’ll keep you updated as we learn more.
