Gen III Pokémon coming in Pokemon Go Halloween event

Gen III Pokémon are heading to Pokémon Go as part of a special Halloween event.

Pokémon like Sableye and Banette have already been confirmed, with more heading to the game in December, Developer Niantic confirmed.

In addition to the newbies, Ghost-type Pokémon like Drowsee and Ghastly will feature in the Halloween event. It will also offer the chance to snare a special Witch Hat Pikachu.

The event was announced with a special new trailer — check it out below.

The event runs between 6.00 am AEDST on 21 October until 5.00 am AEDST ON 3 November. Fittingly, double Candy will also be earned during the event.
