Friday the 13th maxes out players before delisting

Get in, play, and feel powerful.

Friday the 13th The Game will max out its player base until it’s delisted and becomes unplayable, bestowing players with new Legendary Perks, kills and more.

To help reduce the dependence on database servers, the following changes will be made for all players on Thursday, July 6th,” Gun and Illfonic said in a statement on Twitter.

The changes include free access to 30 Legendary Perks, instant promotion to Level 150, and all kills and Challenge Skulls unlocked. Because everyone’s maxed out, no XP/CP will be earned in matches.

Paid DLC kills will not be unlocked for free as part of this move, but the DLC Kill packs are now discounted to $1.45 AUD each. The base game itself will set you back $7.45 AUD if you’ve not got it as yet.

Friday the 13th will be delisted on 31 December 2023, though it’s expected the title will be playable until 31 December 2024.

Friday the 13th The Game is available now on Windows PC, Xbox One, PS4 and Switch. Gun will follow up on the genre with The Texas Chain Saw Massacre from 18 August on Windows PC, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4 and PS5.
