Friday the 13th: Multiplayer launches in May, with single-player to follow

Friday the 13th will release in-part in May, developer Gun Media has confirmed.

The game’s multiplayer component, pitting up to seven camp counselors against iconic killer Jason Voorhees, will be available from 26 May. A single-player campaign will follow, via an in-game update, sometime during Australia’s winter.

Single-player will focus on Jason himself, and will be objective-based.

“You’ll get to see missions that will remind you of the movies, as well as entirely new scenarios to sink your machete into,” Gun Media said of the content.

Friday the 13th: The Game heads to Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4 on 26 May.
