Fresh Tracks has today revealed its cast alongside its 12 August 2025 release date, thanks to announcements from the Canadian-based Buffalo Buffalo at the PC Gaming Show.
Peter Stormare (Until Dawn, Fargo, American Gods) leads an all-star cast as Sogvar the God of Metal, and will be joined by Michael Antonakos (Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, Gotham Knights) and Ian Hanlin (Sonic Prime, LEGO Jurassic World) as Fars & Dram the Gods of Orchestra, Ceara Morgana (Starship Troopers Extermination, Super Team Canada) as Koda the Goddess of Pop, and Bethany Brown (The 100, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina) as Mar the Queen of Terror.
“Fresh Tracks invites players to strap on their skis for a non-stop music-driven adventure,” reads a press release. “Journey through the snow-covered land of Norwyn accompanied by powerful Mythics, who transform the world, the stories, and the soundtrack so your trail can change from a blazing metal anthem to a theatrical orchestral tragedy, or a shimmering pop ballad, depending on who is with you.”
“Jump, dodge, and fight to the rhythm of the gods in this thrilling music-action game on skis,” the press release continued. “As the protagonist, Skaii, players begin their journey gliding through a beautiful snow-covered forest to the beat of an ethereal pop soundtrack, an Aurora shimmering overhead.
“Soon, however, the path diverges, and players must navigate increasing obstacles and fight off menacing minions as they delve deeper into the darkness that has befallen the land of Norwyn. As Skaii conquers each new trail, players unlock new abilities, new divine companions, and 28 tracks of irresistible original music.”
Expect Fresh Tracks from 12 August 2025 on Windows PC via Steam, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, and PS5.
