Free Balatro update adds skins from Witcher, Vampire Survivors

... and more!

A free Balatro update has added a number of new cosmetic skins inspired by iconic video game franchises.

Available now, new cosmetic card skins have been inspired by the likes of The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt, Dave the Diver, Vampire Survivors and Among Us.

“This update is now available free of charge on PC & consoles, adding some visual flair to the game by allowing players to replace the traditional face cards—Kings, Queens, and Jacks—with beloved characters like Geralt, Yennefer, and Jaskier from The Witcher,” LocalThunk and PlayStack said in a press release.

Of the collaboration, LocalThunk said, “it was surreal having these conversations. Some of the biggest names in gaming praising my little project and wanting to collaborate—absolutely wild. I’m glad we made it happen!”

A major content update for Balatro is scheduled for 2025; one more major announcement for the roguelike card game is still to come.

Balatro is currently available on Windows PC, Mac, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4, PS5, and Switch. This new update should be live on all platforms today.
