Four Mass Effect books will bridge the gap between the original trilogy and Andromeda

A new series of Mass Effect novels, published by Titan Books, will tie the franchise’s first three games together with the upcoming Mass Effect: Andromeda.

Titan asserts that the novels “will become part of the overarching Mass Effect saga… answering the many questions fans have been asking.”

Titan has four books planned. The first, Mass Effect: Andromeda Initiation, heads to stores in August and is written by fantasy author N.K. Jemisin. The following three books are followed in March 2017, September 2017, and March 2018.

Mass Effect: Andromeda is scheduled for next year on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4.
