Fortnite’s 100-player Battle Royale available for free next week

Fornite‘s upcoming Battle Royale mode will be free to play upon launch, 26 September.

The title will offer up the 100-player, PvP mode for free across Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4.

Looks a little like PlayerUnknowns Battlegrounds, eh? Fortnite: Battle Royale is free-to-play and doesn’t require access to the base Fortnite.

Fortnite is available now on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4. It recently made headlines when a configuration error made cross-play available across Xbox One and PS4.
