Fortnite will soon run at 60FPS on consoles

Big changes are heading to Fortnite, including 60 frames-per-second (FPS) on console.

Developer Epic says that 60FPS should be achievable across the range of current-edge consoles, from the base PS4 to powerhouse Xbox One X. Available in March, Epic is timing the mode “for each console to maximize frame rate while minimizing loss of visual quality.”

Moreover, a number of additional tweaks will be added to Fortnite soon. They include Blitz Mode, offering shorter matches and less time between circles.

Over in 50v50 news, Epic plans to introduce a bus for each team and enable more supply drops alongside the ability to see all squadmates on the map.

Fortnite — and its most popular mode, Fortnite: Battle Royale — is available now on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4.
