Fortnite split-screen play available on Xbox, PS4

Fortnite split-screen play is now available on Xbox One and PS4, Epic has advised.

Those on either console will be able to play Duos and Squads with one friend in split-screen mode, with each player taking half of the screen (duh).

“This is an early release of Split Screen; we will continue to improve the feature,” Epic also advised. “Please report bugs via the in-game Feedback tool.”

Split-screen is part of the game’s v11.30 update, which also brings Item Shop previews, a changed ammo indicator, an increase to Item Shop gifting limits and more. You can check out a full list of changes here.

Fortnite is available now on Windows PC, Xbox One, PS4, Switch, iOS and Android devices.
