Fortnite picture-in-picture available for this weekend’s Tones And I concert

Watch and play, all at the same time.

Fortnite will offer picture-in-picture for this weekend’s upcoming Tones And I Soundwave Series concert, Epic Games has recently confirmed.

First, Tones And I will take Fortnite‘s virtual stage from 10 am AEDT on Saturday, 22 January. The concert will then be available on-demand for 72 hours after the livestream ends. To take part, players can head to Fortnite‘s Discover menu and find the Soundwave Series: Tones And I entry, or simply use Island Code 4161-9206-0181.

If you’re not content just watching the concert, you can also continue playing inside Battle Royale playlists using picture-in-picture. A feature first introduced in 2019, picture-in-picture lets players “view the broadcast while playing to pick up wins of your own.”

Epic has advised that picture-in-picture will be “available during certain times of the event and accessible through the settings.”

Fortnite is currently available on Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4, PS5 and Switch.
