Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 2 extended into June

Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 2 has been extended into June, Epic Games has today announced.

Originally scheduled to conclude on 30 April, the season will now end on 4 June. A reason for the extension was not given in a blog post announcing the news, but we’d wager it’s due to issues related to the global coronavirus crisis.

“Before then, there’s lots of content coming in the current Season,” Epic continued.
We have multiple game updates on the way that will deliver fresh gameplay, new Challenges, bonus XP, and a couple more surprises up our sleeve!”

Fortnite is available now on Windows PC, Xbox One, PS4, Switch, iOS and Android devices. This current Chapter and Season also provides access to the Merc with a Mouth, Deadpool.
