Fortnite: Battle Royale’s new Blitz mode is now live

Fornite: Battle Royale’s new Blitz mode, a limited-time offering, is now live within the game.

Blitz matches are a maximum of 15 minutes long. As a result, timings are amped up — the storm circle begins to shrink as soon as a match starts.

To accomodate the fast-paced nature of the mode, loot drops have been adjusted for balance — you’re more likely to find treasure chests and ammo as compared to a normal Battle Royale match.

Additionally, Supply Drops will take place every 80 seconds and will fall from the sky at twice their normal speed.

Have fun!

Fornite: Battle Royale is currently available on Windows PC, Xbox One, PS4 and now, iOS and Android.
