The first Mortal Kombat movie reboot trailer is gory as all hell

Get over here!

The first proper Mortal Kombat movie reboot trailer is available and is gory as all hell.

Two two minute trailer has a bunch going on, from first proper looks at Raiden, Mileena, Jax, Sub-Zero, Goro, Liu Kang, Scorpion, Kano and many more, but also shows off why the film has garnered a mature rating.

Spoiler alert: if you’re not sure of what’s up with Jax’s arms… you might not want to watch the trailer below. If you do, go for it — it’s nothing you’re not across.

Mortal Kombat stars Lewis Tan (Iron Fist) as a former MMA fighter with a strange dragon mark on his chest. While people think it’s just a birthmark, it’s actually an indication the fighter has been chosen for titual Mortal Kombat. Obviously.

Mortal Kombat heads to theatres (and HBO Max where available) on 16 April.
