Firewatch developer Campo Santo acquired by Valve

Firewatch developer Campo Santo has been acquired by Valve, the pair recently confirmed.

“In Valve we found a group of folks who, to their core, feel the same way about the work that they do (this, you may be surprised to learn, doesn’t happen every day),” Campo Santo announced via blog post. “In us, they found a group with unique experience and valuable, diverse perspectives. It quickly became an obvious match.”

The twelve-person team will move to Valve’s Bellevue, Washington headquarters to continue working on its upcoming title, In the Valley of the Gods. Moreover, Campo Santo has recently confirmed a Nintendo Switch version of its previous title, Firewatch.

Firewatch is currently available on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4.
