Final Fantasy XV would take “more than a year” to port to PC

Speaking with Spanish website Vida Extra, Final Fantasy XV‘s Hajime Tabatawhich (as translated by WCCFtech) has said the game would take “more than a year” to port to PC.

Starting with a pledge that Square Enix would “work to provide a better version” of the game on console, Tabata added, “on that hypothesis, not talking about something real, [this is] just an idea– something like this would take us more than a year.

“We should work to adapt the engine, which is very laborious, and from there to develop its course.”

Final Fantasy XV heads to PS4 and Xbox One on 29 November.
