Final Fantasy XV: Updates will fix a loathed chapter, add new hairstyles and more

Final Fantasy XV‘s Director, Hajime Tabata, has taken to two separate blog posts to detail patches planned for the game.

First and foremost, Tabata has acknowledged fan frustration with the title’s thirteenth chapter and promises to improve it by buffing a magical ring crucial to the gameplay.

Other free content includes adding extra chunks of story into the game, fleshing out main characters, a New Game Plus feature and, perhaps most importantly, new hairstyles.

Moreover, Tabata outlined upcoming paid content, including:

  • FFXV Holiday Pack (tentative name)
  • FFXV Booster Pack (tentative name)
  • FFXV Episode Gladiolus (tentative name)
  • FFXV Episode Ignis (tentative name)
  • FFXV Episode Prompto (tentative name)
  • FFXV Expansion Pack: Comrades (tentative name)

Final Fantasy XV is available now on Xbox One and PS4. We reviewed it here.
