Final Fantasy VII remake: Japanese publications reveal new details

Reports by Japanese publications Hachima Kikou and Famitsu have shed more light on the Final Fantasy VII remake.

Famitsu reports that work on the remake’s first episode is already complete, though a release date has yet to be set.

Meanwhile, Hachima Kikou says that it’s still unknown exactly how many parts will end up being produced, but the episodic nature of the game means Square Enix can delve into the backstories of characters like Biggs, Wedge and Jesse.
