Final Fantasy: Square Enix hosting a special 30th anniversary party in Tokyo next month

Square Enix has today detailed plans for a 30th anniversary celebration for the Final Fantasy series next month in Tokyo.

Held on 31 January 2017, the Final Fantasy 30th anniversary Opening Ceremony event will be held at the Roppongi Hills TOHO Cinemas from 5.00 pm and again at 6.30 pm local time.

The event also happens to coincide with Final Fantasy VII‘s 20th anniversary.

Admission is free, though only 200 fans will be allowed in at each event time. To try for a spot, fans will have to apply here before 9 January. A Japanese Square Enix Members account is required to do so.

Final Fantasy XV is available now on Xbox One and PS4. We reviewed it here.
