FIFA 16: 13 female players removed due to NCAA notice

An NCAA noticed has forced EA to remove thirteen female players from the roster of FIFA 16.

The notice requested that the players, who either are on or will “likely” be on college rosters be removed from the title.

“We believe this decision denies these 13 athletes the opportunity to represent their countries in the game, but we have removed them from FIFA 16 to ensure there is no risk to their eligibility,” EA advised in a blog post.

FIFA 16 is now available in trial form on the Xbox One’s EA Access or via a demo across all available platforms.
