Far Cry 6 full details leaked by PlayStation Store

Surprise! Far Cry 6 details have been leaked by a listing on the PlayStation Store Hong Kong.

“Welcome to Yara, a tropical paradise frozen in time,” a rough translation reads (via ResetEra). “As the dictator of Yara, Anton Castillo is intent on restoring his nation back to its former glory by any means, with his son, Diego, following in his bloody footsteps. Their ruthless oppression has ignited a revolution.

“Play as Dani Rojas, a local Yaran and become a guerrilla fighter to liberate the nation. Fight against Anton’s troops in the largest Far Cry playground to date across jungles, beaches and Esperanza the capital city of Yara. Employ makeshift weapons, vehicles, and Amigos, the new Fangs for Hire to burn the tyrannical regime to the ground.”

Moreover, the listing confirms that those who purchase the game’s “Polar Cry 6” version on PS4 will automatically receive an upgrade to play the PS5 version of the game.

The listing’s art also seems to confirm that Giancarlo Esposito will feature in-game, as the actor accidentally let slip earlier this month.

We’ll keep you posted as we learn more of Far Cry 6. It’s likely the title will be revealed as part of next week’s Ubisoft Forward event.

Update: It’s certain the title will be detailed at Ubisoft Forward thanks to a teaser from the Far Cry Twitter account:
