Far Cry 5 free-to-play on PC this weekend

Far Cry 5 is free-to-play on PC via Uplay this weekend, Ubisoft has confirmed.

The free play period starts at 11pm AEST today, 29 May and will run until 2.00 am AEST on 1 June. Those keen to try the title can head here to register and start pre-loading. As with most free-to-play trials, those who choose to purchase Far Cry 5 after the event will find their progress will continue over into the main game.

Far Cry 5 Standard and Gold PC Editions will be on sale at up to 75% off during the free weekend.
