Fallout 76 Wastelanders update delayed by another week

The Fallout 76 Wastelanders update will be delayed by one more week, adding to the myriad of issues already associated with the game.

In a statement released on Twitter, Bethesda Game Studios wrote that, “like others around the world, we’re dealing with the critical situation that’s currently affecting so many of us and our communities. For the safety of everyone, we have transitioned to remote work, and are limiting our in-person interactions.

“This has affected our ability to do the final testing we needed for Wastelanders and we must move the release date a week, from April 7 to April 14. We’ve done everything we can to minimize the delay and can’t wait for everyone to play. A special thanks to all our [PTS] players for all your help.”

Fallout 76 is currently available on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4. The Wastelanders update, which adds NPCs, will be available from 14 April.
