Fallout 4 classified MA15+ in Australia

The Australian Classification Board has just rated Fallout 4 as an MA15+ title, thanks to word from the AusVGClassifications Twitter account.

According to the ACB, the game features moderate impact themes, language, nudity, sex and drug use.

Drug use was the major problem with Fallout 3‘s classification back in the day, with in-game drug morphine being renamed to Med-X here in the country to obtain an MA15+ classificiation. Keep in mind that when Fallout 3 was released, MA15+ was the highest classification available for video games.

We’ve asked Bethesda here in Australia if Med-X or morphine features in Fallout 4, and whether or not that’s affected the game’s classification.

The game also features strong impact violence, according to the ACB.

Fallout 4 will be available on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4 from 10 November.
