F1 2014 won’t be available on current-gen systems

Codemasters announced that F1 2014 will remain a last-gen title, heading to Xbox 360, PS3 and Windows PC in October.

The publisher also confirmed that the title will head to current-gen in its 2015 iteration.

As a bonus, this last-gen entry will be released earlier in the actual F1 racing season. That’s a way to balance gamers’ expectations, right?

F1 2014 heads to PS3, Xbox 360 and Windows PC on 17 October in Europe and 21 October in North America.
