Evolve’s player count is the highest since launch thanks to free-to-play

Evolve Stage 2 — the free-to-play re-release of Evolve — has deliver the game’s highest player counts on PC since its initial launch.

Steam Charts has current player numbers at 40,803, a 1194.51% increase in player activity. The game’s initial launch saw a peak number of users come in at around 27,000.

Evolve is in a free-to-play beta on Windows PC, and will head to Xbox One and PS4 after the beta is completed.
