Is Evolve about to go free-to-play?

Evolve is promising big news within the next twenty-four hours.

Billed as #StageUp, some think the announcement — complete with a countdown timer — promises new Monsters and Hunters.

Others, who have noted that Evolve is no longer discounted on Steam — make that no longer for sale on Steam (thanks, Dewald) — think that the game might be going free-to-play.

We’ll find out in just over seventeen hours.
