Evil Dead’s Sam Raimi is producing The Last of Us movie

Horror fans rejoice, for The Evil Dead‘s Sam Raimi has been attached to The Last of Us feature film.

Raimi will co-produce the movie alongside Neil Druckmann.

It wouldn’t be a Raimi film without Evil Dead‘s lead, Bruce Campbell… though don’t expect the famous B-grade actor to be playing Joel. Game of Thrones‘ Maisie Williams has also been reportedly considered for the feature role of Ellie.

The Last of Us: Remastered will be available for PS4 tomorrow. It was released on PS3 last year.
