Evil Dead game delayed to 2022, single-player mode coming

Good news and bad news.

Evil Dead The Game has been delayed into 2022, developer Sabre Interactive has today confirmed.

“Hey groovy gamers, we’re targeting a new release date to give the team some extra time for polish and to ensure this is the ultimate Evil Dead experience you’re all waiting for,” reads a statement on Twitter.

“This additional time is also allowing us to implement a single-player option that will let you enjoy the game when you are without your co-op compadres.”

Evil Dead will offer up 4v1 gameplay, with a team needing to work together to stop a Deadite invasion.

Evil Dead The Game heads to Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4 and PS5 sometime in 2022.
